How Maine supports children's behavioral health
Children's Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) is part of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). CBHS helps coordinate a statewide system of care designed to support children, youth, and families. While services are delivered by providers across Maine, CBHS works behind the scenes to improve access, strengthen coordination, and ensure the system works effectively for families.
